Nandhi Hills – Hill station around 75kms from Bangalore. Wonderful weekend getaway.
Shivasamudram – Wonderful waterfalls which are located on river Cauvery around 130kms from Bangalore.
Belur and Sravanabelagola – Hoysala period architecture and temples at their magnificent best at Belur. Sravanabelagola is known for the Gomateshwar.

Trek to Mullayanagiri and Bababudangiri (near Chikmaglur) – 20 of us went on a trek to the highest peak in Karnataka, Mullayanagiri which is near Chikmaglur. This is an account of our experiences there.
Tada Falls – Tada is a small town in Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh, India. There is a small falls around 20kms from tada and it is a wonderful trek to reach the falls.
Melkotae – This is a place near Mandya (around 150Km from Bangalore). It is one of the sacred sites of Vaishnavism in Southern India and offers much more then the temples.
