Well, I am not talking about the impact Google is having on the lives of people all over the world, but about some other simple application that Google has released.
To find out the time in any part of the world, just type “time <Place Name>” in the Google search box and the time at that place is displayed at the top. As usual the other search results follow.
For eg: Typing “Time Chennai” in the Google Search Box displays
If you type the name of a country which has different time zones, then the time in all the time zones is displayed.
For eg: Typing “time United States” in the Google Search Box displays
Pretty useful and much faster than going to other sites which give the same information. It seems to work for nearly all the places I have tried. But, I am pretty certain it will fail to produce results if you try to know the time in some small town or in some remote place in Siberia.
